Martin Collison

Martin CollisonMartin is a musician & songwriter with a cockney/punk edge who, back in 1993, was in a band called SALAD (Sex And Love All Day). Martin had written some interesting songs that caught our ears. He also owned a classic Farfisa organ that we wanted 🙂 … and he very kindly lent it to us for a while too – thx m8.

This track, “Wash”, co-written by Martin, Joe & Richard is quite an unusual blend of indie, brit-pop & porno groove …

We tracked Martin down on BandZoogle a couple of years ago, but he has disappeared off that now. Wikipedia has some more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Martin_Collison

  1. I’ve been looking for this man since 1998!!
I lost his number and address then for years I’ve been looking for ‘Martyn Collinson’. Just got out a Cd he made ‘collected works’ with hits like ‘baby’ ‘totally crazy’ and ‘outaspace’ and noticed his name!
I still have a cd we made together with me playing crisp on drums!
    Missed you for years!
Contact me, I still have the Paul Macartny book you gave me!

  2. Hi. I ve been trying to contact him since November last year. My brother in law ( Gary Brodie ), played in a band with Martin many years ago. Gary died last November and we ve not been able to tell Martin.
